Armenia 2018 Recap

September 30, 2018

DAY 19/20 OF MISSION: ARMENIA 2018

September 13, 2018

Saying our very last goodbyes and traveling back home after three long amazing weeks.

DAY 18 OF MISSION: ARMENIA 2018

September 13, 2018

With only 48 hours left of our trip, we managed to visit one more family before our time in Armenia is up.

DAY 17 OF MISSION: ARMENIA 2018

September 13, 2018

Today my grandfather preached twice at the same church, once at 11:00 am and then again at 2:00 pm. Once both services were done, we went to visit a WW2 Veteran that my grandfather had met last year. I met him for the first time this year and he prayed a blessing on me and Taylor’s marriage, which was so touching that I held back tears. We also went to visit another someone else who turned out not to be home, but in turn we were able to give some tracts to a neighbour that knew the woman. -Alexis

DAY 16 OF MISSION: ARMENIA 2018

September 13, 2018

We have less than a handful of days left here in Armenia so we are starting to say our goodbyes today. I can’t believe how quickly this trip has gone by!

DAY 15 OF MISSION: ARMENIA 2018

September 13, 2018

Today was a really fun day, we were able to attend a wedding ceremony and reception but in between were able to stop by Bumbumik, an awesome kids zone, started by a Christian couple!

DAY 14 OF MISSION: ARMENIA 2018

September 13, 2018

Although there have been many highlights throughout our trip, I’d say today was by far one of the most amazing days. The complete change in one man, the gathering of many strangers in a neighbourhood and an awesome church service put today at the top of my list of best days in Armenia.

DAY 13 OF MISSION: ARMENIA 2018

August 25, 2018

It’s hard knowing that others can’t afford basic necessities, but it’s even more difficult when you witness it in person. On Wednesday, one of our visits was to a mother and her three children who live in a small space with no bedroom, no kitchen, no washroom. We all left their home with heavy hearts.

DAY 12 OF MISSION: ARMENIA 2018

August 23, 2018

Today a local pastor took us to visit seven families, all with different stories, struggles and circumstances. Although I knew of the poverty in Armenia, I had yet to witness so much in a single day. It was a long and emotional day, but I am thankful to have met these people and will forever be changed by what I experienced. -Alexis Livingston

DAY 11 OF MISSION: ARMENIA 2018

August 23, 2018

Today we met with two different families and had some wonderful conversations and prayers.
